in the case of an international sale, trade & GO doms, a customs declaration has to be done. for that, I need full address of the recipient, as well as their phone number. value will be put as lower than 1 CHF for envelopes / 5 CHF for parcels to ensure no extra customs fees for the recipient. if no customs declaration is asked at the post office, I do not show the barcode made prior for it.
if the recipient is uncomfortable giving out their phone number, I am willing to try sending out twice without a customs declaration. if I am refused send out at the post office both times, phone number will be, then, required.
